Green Vision is proud to announce the release of its first Environmental Product Declaration (EPD).
An EPD demonstrates a strong commitment to environmental responsibility and transparency. It is an environmental assessment and verification of products and services aligned to international standards.
An Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) report tells the life cycle story of a product this report details Green Vision’s Recycled Crushed Concrete (RCC). The EPD provides information about a product's impact upon the environment by independently verifying the carbon dioxide equivalent (CO2 eq) generated from the production of a product.
The EPD released by Green Vision calculates this by using RCC versus quarried aggregate. It shows that RCC from Green Vision reduces the carbon impact on the environment by around 75% in comparison to using comparable quarried aggregate.
